This is actually my 2nd Coleman cooler quad chair. I have a very similar one in blue and I was so happy with it a year later that I decided to add another one to my collection. They are perfect for camping or the beach. I would argue that they are male friendly, and I say that only because they are a bit wider and heavier than traditional folding chairs. If you are carrying them a few feet from the car to a camp site, anyone could manage it. I would argue that if you have a bit of a walk on your hands, they could be cumbersome for a smaller person. At the end of the day, how can you go wrong with a chair that has a cooler built into the arm? It is quite similar to the lining inside of a child's lunch bag and it can easily accommodate a small ziploc bag of ice and 2-3 beers. Small mesh storage bag on the side is great for an opener, keys, wallet, phone etc. Only one cup holder because of the cooler arm.
I searched on every site and bought this chair. It is sturdy, comfy, easy to calapse and put away, as well as set up. I'm very happy with this chair, and so is my 6'5" husband who also finds it very comfortable.
