This five foot Camp Chef Hose feels like it is made from heavy materials. The small brass fitting works very well on all of my camping accessories like propane stoves, heaters, and of course my new Camp Chef Stove/Oven. The larger plastic fitting that connects to the bulk sized tanks is well constructed, but feels like it could have been made from stronger material. I worry that it could be possible to strip the treads if one was to over tighten the fitting. So far everything has worked superbly.
This adapter hose worked great to fuel my Coleman Northstar lantern all night when we were car camping, from a 20 propane tank. The side with the knob is very easy to twist onto the 20 propane cylinder by hand, and the other brass end is cast with a diamond grip pattern so you can turn it snugly into the small appliance on the other end of the hose without leaks, and using no tools. I like it!
