The set up and tear down is everything they advertise. Extremely easy, but watch for finger pinching! I was amazed at how quickly the tent went up putting it up by myself. Staked down, the tent is sturdy enough even in strong winds. However, mine leaked badly during a storm-water comes in the window zippers and top flaps, and I had a couple of good sized puddles under the cot legs in the morning and a steady drip on the middle of my sleeping bag. The door zipper closes at the bottom, and I found that the bottom portion of the tent bathtub floor rolled down when the door was unzipped, causing water to roll into the tent and drip down the door from there also.
The other issue is lack of privacy-I'm a Mom who camps with Boy Scouts and I'm sometimes the only woman present. With no rainfly to mask the windows, I could not open them at all while I slept. The tent is airless and stuffy with all the windows closed. The four person model is almost the perfect size for a single person with a cot and gear, but even at 5'2" I could not stand up straight anywhere in the tent. It's difficult to change clothes in. The cot barely fit into the back side of the tent, but an air mattress would fit better as the bottom floor is considerably wider than the sloped up sides.
Coleman has a home run here if they make a few modifications like adding a fly, ties for the window flaps, more headroom, widening the walls, and shoring up the floor area by the door.

Haven't yet taken this out for real camping, but have set it up and taken it down a large number of times at the house. It really is as simple as advertised, and I just can't imagine going back to a 'regular' tent. I envision using this for river float fishing trips, where setting up the tent at the end of a long float day is really the last thing I want to do. With this, it'll practically eliminate that hassle from the camp.
Had some friends over ; showed them how easy it was, they went and bought one on Amazon that same week.
I got the Coleman 1-Minute Setup screen room that's currently available at our local Costco, an 11'x11' canopy with insect screen attached for all 4 sides, and it's just as easy as the tent.
I definitely would recommend this tent (and all the other Coleman 1-Minute Setup equipment) to friends.
